Spain’s Ezentis Wins $100 Million Contract in Chile
« en: Enero 13, 2014, 10:46:12 am »
SANTIAGO – The Chilean unit of Spain’s Ezentis said Tuesday it won a $100 million contract from Telefonica Chile to develop and maintain fiber-optic landline networks.

The 38-month contract covers the installation and maintenance of telephone, broadband and pay television service, Ezentis said.

Ezentis’s order book stood at 288 million euros (about $388 million) as of June 30, thanks to contracts obtained in the Caribbean region and other areas.

The Spanish technology company owns 95 percent of Consorcio RDTC, its unit in Chile.

“This contract represents a very important boost to our portfolio in a country that is key for us,” Ezentis CEO Manuel Garcia-Duran said.
