Sharon Corr, le groupe The Corrs n’est plus actif depuis six ans. Cette pause sera-t-elle encore longue?

Sincí¨rement, je n’en ai aucune idíée, nous n’avons fait aucun plan. Aujourd’hui, ma vie tourne essentiellement autour de ma propre musique et de mes enfants. Reformer le groupe est une option, mais pas une níécessitíé. J’appríécie beaucoup ma nouvelle carrií¨re solo, le fait de jouer mes anciennes et nouvelles compositions sur scí¨ne, et j’espí¨re que cela durera encore longtemps.


Que pensez-vous de l’idíée d’organiser une soiríée celtique í  la Foire aux vins?

J’adore ce type de festival. Cela permet de cíélíébrer la musique celtique comme il se doit. Toutes mes racines sont lí . Si le public breton y est sans doute plus habituíé, les Franí§ais en gíéníéral connaissent bien The Corrs, et se montrent trí¨s ríéceptifs.


Oí¹ en est votre prochain album. S’appellera-t-il « Catching the moon », comme vous l’avez íévoquíé?

C’est effectivement le titre de l’une des chansons qui y figurera. Mais rien n’est encore díécidíé quant au nom de l’album. J’attends d’íªtre sí»re d’avoir trouvíé celui qui díéfinira le mieux ce nouveau projet. Je vais commencer í  enregistrer les premiers morceaux trí¨s prochainement, et l’album devrait sortir l’an prochain, si tout va bien.


Votre sÅ“ur cadette Andrea poursuit íégalement une carrií¨re d’actrice. Cela vous tente-t-il?

Non, cela ne m’inspire pas beaucoup. Bien sí»r, il ne faut jamais dire jamais, mais je príéfí¨re me consacrer í  ce que je sais faire le mieux, plutí´t que de me disperser dans des domaines que je ne maí®trise pas.

De acuerdo con la información publicada por el periódico irlandíés Herald, Sharon habrí­a firmado ya el contrato para formar nuevamente parte de los mentores de The Voice en su segunda temporada.

RTE's hit series The Voice will return to our screens later this year but the judging line-up may be changed amid doubts over whether Kian Egan will continue.

Despite falling viewing figures towards the end of the first season, The Voice will definitely return for a second run later this year.

And while presenter Kathryn Thomas is signed up to appear again, question marks are hanging over a number of the judges.

Former Westlife singer Kian Egan, who just landed a spot presenting the Xtra Factor UK on UTV, is said to be considering his options and would prefer to explore opportunities across the water in the UK.

But RTE chiefs are said to be desperate to hold on to his services and will try their best to get him to sign up to another series.

Bressie, meanwhile, is "holding out" in ongoing contract talks.

The former Blizzards frontman was a massive hit with viewers and producers are also keen to have him back on board.

The singer is currently working on his second album so appearing on the show is sure to keep his profile high ahead of its release.

Overhaul

The other judges, Sharon Corr and Brian Kennedy, have no qualms about returning and are said to be the only two judges to have signed up so far.

The show's format, however, is set for a major overhaul in order to boost ratings. While it will still be a 17-week run, the longest of all Voice shows around the world, changes will be made to the competition.

Producers Shinawill have just returned from Holland where they attended a Voice conference.

Sources have indicated that they have been advised to revamp the show to attract more viewers and ensure the show is competition enough to The X Factor.

De acuerdo con las declaraciones que realizó Sharon a unos fans, el pasado 24 de julio tras su concierto en Quimper, la salida de su segundo álbum se retrasará hasta 2013, puesto que tres cuartas partes del álbum ya están escritas pero quedan aún numerosas grabaciones que llevar a cabo y que tendrán lugar durante los meses de agosto y noviembre en la ciudad de Los íngeles.

Les trois quarts des chansons seraient íécrites mais il reste de nombreux enregistrements í  faire aux í‰tats-unis et notamment í  Los Angeles.

Elle a íégalement ríépondu aux questions sur son second album sans retenue. Et j'ai demandíé confirmation í  Amy elle a bien affirmíée qu'il sortirait en 2013, qu'elle avait deux sessions d'enregistrement príévues en aoí»t et en novembre í  Los Angeles.

Según publicó ayer el periódico Irish Independent, durante toda esta semana Sharon ha estado en Tanzania en misión para Oxfam Ireland acompañada por Barry McCall tomando instantáneas de su labor humanitaria.

Snapping the likes of Liam Neeson, U2, Saoirse Ronan and Gabriel Byrne -- he could have had a guest list to rival a royal wedding.

But photographer Barry McCall has revealed that he and his partner Kari Rocca are planning a low-key celebration for their big day next month.

"We wanted something small and simple, just a little service not a huge procession going up the aisle," Barry said about the couple's wedding planned for the weekend of October 6 and 7 in Los Angeles.

One wonders would there be room for LA resident Colin Farrell if he showed up, as it was this time last year that Barry shot some striking pictures of a beat-up Colin for an ISPCC poster in Toronto.

"You never know but we're having a bigger bash for friends and family in Dublin, which might suit Colin more.

"We're not big friends by the way, but I did enjoy working with him," he added.

Barry proposed to Kari, an interior designer and cousin of the famous Rocca family, on Christmas Eve after 10 years together.

"It was time," said Barry when asked what prompted the proposal.

The lens man, who published a 20-year retrospective entitled Pho20graphy in 2010, is just back from a week-long trip to Tanzania in Africa where he spent time photographing Sharon Corr on a mission for the charity Oxfam.
