We can now announce that Amy is all set to play V Festival this year. She will be playing the Channel 4 stage at the festival when it kicks off this summer. You can see Amy at Stafford on 21st August and at Chelmsford on 22nd August. For more info see www.vfestival.com
Su canción This is the life fue número 1 en ventas y ahora vuelve para repetirlo con Don't tell me that it's over, el primer sencillo de A Curious Thing.

Amy MacDonald has been down to Bournemouth a few times to visit the in-laws, but this was the first time she has played in the town. It turns out that not only is she a vision of loveliness and a very talented musician, she is also a very popular lady, playing to a near capacity O2 Academy to round off the long Easter weekend. Kicking things off with An Ordinary Life, the 22-year-old looked resplendent dressed in reflective, glittery black – literally nearly blinding us with her beauty. She was joined on stage by lead guitar, bass, drums and keyboards, treating her fans to the full band experience, occasionally taking centre stage alone for acoustic numbers. The hour and a half involved more guitar changes than GaGa has costume changes, with probably her biggest hit to date, Mr Rock And Roll, being slipped into the middle of the set followed by an acoustic version of Bruce Springsteen’s Born To Run. Amy enjoyed conversing with the crowd and still managed to retain her unfaltering “niceness†when dealing with a couple of over-enthusiastic fans, asking them very nicely to “zip it†as quite a few people had come to hear her sing and not them shout. Amy also excelled at playing the comedian, sharing amusing anecdotes about her life on tour, the recording of her new album, Curiosity, and that she and the band had fish and chips for dinner to celebrate being by the seaside. The evening was brought to a close with the title track off debut album, This Is The Life. She promised to come back soon, and not just to visit the Lovells.
