Empieza el Club Bilderberg.
Entre los españoles asisten la Reina, Nin, Cebrián y Margallo
La conferencia anual del selecto Club Bilderberg cuenta este año con cuatro participantes españoles, tres de ellos habituales del foro, como son La Reina; el presidente de Prisa, Juan Luis Cebrián (que no se pierde una); y el director general de la La Caixa, Juan Maria Nin, a quienes se ha unido este año el ministro de Asuntos Exteriores y de Cooperación, Josíé Manuel García-Margallo, según la lista de invitados distribuida por los organizadores.
La reunión comenzó este jueves en un hotel cíéntrico de Copenhague, donde las conversaciones entre unos 140 participantes de 22 países se prolongarán hasta el próximo 1 de junio.
Para el encuentro de este año, se han fijado una serie de temas de debate sobre la sostenibilidad de la recuperación económica, el intercambio de información entre servicios secretos, el futuro de la democracia, las perspectivas que presenta la política y la economía de China y la crisis en Ucrania, entre otros.
Fundado en 1954, con una primera conferencia en el Hí´tel Bilderberg, cerca de Arnhem (Países Bajos), este foro se diseñó para propiciar un diálogo entre líderes políticos, empresarios, hombres de negocio, acadíémicos y representantes de medios de comunicación de Europa y Norteamíérica.
Son mayoría los invitados europeos (en torno a dos tercios) y aproximadamente un tercio procede de la política, según informan los organizadores en su página web.
Las conferencias del Club Bilderberg se programan como discusiones informales sobre las principales cuestiones que afronta el mundo. Los participantes pueden hacer uso de lo que
se ha dicho en la conferencia, pero con la condición de no identificar nunca al ponente.
Entre los participantes, tambiíén figura el exsecretario de Estado norteamericano Henry A. Kissinger; la directora general del Fondo Monetario Internacional, Christine Lagarde; el redactor jefe de ‘The Economist’, John Micklethwait; el exprimer ministro italiano Mariano Monti; la Princesa Beatriz de Holanda; el secretario general de la OTAN, Anders Fogh Rasmussen; el presidente de Axa Group, Henri de Castries; el ministro sueco de Exteriores, Carl Bildt o el presidente de Airbus, Thomas Enders, entre otros.
La agenda incluye entre otros temas:

Obviamente no esperíéis ningúna solución mágica de este Club de poderosos que decide reunirse cada año a puerta cerrada.
