New tourshow added in the Netherlands!

If you thought we were doing a European tour without any Dutch dates, think again! We've added a final show to our tour schedule in May at our own Hedon venue in Zwolle. The show will be on May 25th, which makes it the last date of the tour. We'd like to invite all you Dutchies to come and celebrate this last gig of the European tour with us. Although our new album will still be in the making, we'll play you some of our brand-new songs this evening, and besides, you'll get to meet our new guitar player!

Delain will hit the road again in a month and it’s really cool to see that you guys are looking forward to it as well.

Manchester is sold out! So if you want to visit another show check our tour schedule here. Especially The Islington Academy show is really going fast, so be sure to get your tickets in time.

We can also confirm our show at the Masters of Rock festival in the Czech Republic. We are really looking forward to that one, because we were not able to do that show last year.

Last but not least we are very pleased to be able to do the Paris show May 21st despite a terrible fire in the Elysee Montmartre. We received a lot of messages from people who were  worried we couldn't do Paris. Fortunately we're able to transfer this show to the Alhambra venue, which is a very cool vstage to play. So see ya all there!

Ya tienen nuevo guitarrista: Timo Sommers!

It’s time to make an end to all rumour and speculations, today we’re anouncing our new guitar player. We’re happy to introduce Timo Somers as our new guitarist. Timo’s been rehearsing with us for quite some time and we’re very confident that we’ve found the best possible new Delain team member in him; this guy’s got music in his blood. You’ll be getting to know more about about Timo in the upcoming weeks through our updated member profiles and through the shows of our upcoming European tour, where he’ll make his debut. Hi there and thanks for checking back to our blog. This blog’s a special one since we’re using it to tell you a little bit more about our new guitar player Timo Somers. You’ve been able to read on our website that we’ve been rehearsing with Timo for a while now, and we’re really happy about the way both our old and our new, yet unreleased songs benefit from Timo’s playing. With Timo we’ve been able to find a good match both on musical and personal level.
 
Timo is young but certainly not inexperienced; he’s been touring Europe with his former band Vengeance from the age of 16, and he’s currently studying at the Rockacademie in Tilburg. In two weeks however he’s got to take a little break from that, to join us for his first shows on our upcoming European tour.
 
Here are some words from Timo himself on his joining Delain:
 
I am very proud and happy to be a new part of the Delain family. Ever since I was a young boy that just started his musical adventure I wanted to be a part of a group of talented, crazy and plain great musicians to make music and travel across the world. I finally found this group in Delain and I am very excited about it!  I am looking forward to see all of you at our upcoming shows and we are going to make sure the upcoming album will be the best Delain material you have ever heard!
