Según publican varios medios hoy, a travíés de la infomación obtenida por el periódico The Irish Sun, The Corrs estarí­an trabajando en un nuevo álbum en un estudio de Londres. Ante la falta de un comunicado oficial, recomendamos tomarlo como un rumor, puesto que tampoco serí­a la primera vez que aparece un artí­culo de esa í­ndole.

DUNDALK band The Corrs are expected to announce a music comeback, a decade after their last album.

The sibling supergroup are working on a new album together in London, according to The Sun.
Over the last decade some of the group have taken time out from the spotlight – both Andrea and Sharon also launched solo careers.
The band became a worldwide sensation in the 1990s, with smash hits including ‘Runaway’, ‘Breathless’ and ‘So Young’.
Brother Jim said in 2009 that he was sure the band would re-unite at some point in the future.
“I’m sure that some time in the future, when the time is right, The Corrs will get back together”.
At the peak of their fame the band toured Europe, the US and Australia.
They are widely regarded as the biggest Irish band after U2 – having performed for Pope John Paul II, Nelson Mandela and two American Presidents.

The Corrs reunited musically for the first time in ten years to pay an emotional tribute to their father Gerry (82) at his funeral today.

Sharon, Caroline, Andrea and brother Jim, who last performed together in 2005, played the Minstrel Boy and another traditional Irish air on the altar of the Holy Redeemer Church in Dundalk, as well as reciting two poems written by their father.

Gerry Corr passed away at the Mater hospital surrounded by his family last Thursday after an illness.

Mourners who came to support the family included financier Dermot Desmond, father-in-law to Andrea Corr, artists Guggi and Terry Bradley and musician Simon Carmody.

A wreath of mixed spring flowers came from U2, with a card in the names of Bono, Larry, Adam and Edge.

Andrea Corr was comforted by her husband, Brett Desmond and the couple had with them their children Jean - who celebrated will celebrate third birthday next week and Brett jnr (1).

Caroline Corr was with her husband Frank Woods and their children Jake Gerard (12), Georgina (10) and Rihann (.

Sharon Corr was supported by Belfast-born husband Gavin Bonner and children Cathal (9) and Flori (7).

Jim Corr had son Brandon ( from his relationship with former Miss Ireland Gayle Williamson.

During the moving requiem mass, Sharon read a poem written by her father recalling his courtship with their beloved mother, Jean, who died at the age of 57.

The cover of the mass booklet showed a picture of the couple on their wedding day.

Chief celebrant Fr Paul Montague told the congregation Gerry had played an active part in the community of Dundalk and had been a meals on wheels volunteer, played the organ in the church, was a great supporter of Louth County Hospital and helped the plight of Travellers.

It was through his efforts that had secured a site on the Fairgreen for the Travelling community, Fr Montague said, noting that it had been met with some local resistance and caused Gerry to be labeled a "Weirdy Beardy" in a local newspaper.

Music had been his great love and he and his wife Jean had performed locally for over 30 years and had also nurtured their children to follow their musical dreams.

"And what a gift that has been," said Fr Montague.

The church was filled with applause as the siblings took to the altar in tribute to their father.

Jim ha ido contestando a diferentes fans a preguntas, ha dicho entre otras cosas:
 
-Que la canción de su último video es la misma que Andrea toca al tin en el video de hace un par de semanas, aún están trabajando en ella, no saben si será el nuevo single, es muy pronto para decidir eso.
 
-Que aún están escribiendo el disco, para nada tienen todas las canciones...y se deduce por este tweet como respuesta a fecha de salida:
         "As soon as it's ready - polished, perfected, mixed, mastered. We want to give you the best we can", que no saben cuando saldrá.
 
-A travíés de este: "Vinyl does sound so much better, we'll chat with the Rec Company regarding that" se deduce que están de nuevo en una discográfica.
 
-Que está contentí­simo de estar de nuevo en la banda, y que Anto y Keith están en el proyecto "no podriamos hacerlo sin ellos, son practicamente familia" dice.
 
-Y por último, a la pregunta de si habrá más conciertos a parte del de Hyde Park contesta: "More than likely"
