Because of a malaise that has struck the singer Dolores O'Riordan , the Cranberries were forced to cancel the Italian branch of their summer tour : the Irish band , according to the scanty information emerged to date, would still be in Spello , in Umbria , where he was waiting on stage tonight at Villa Fidelia . Tickets will be refunded at the point of sale at which they were purchased by July 30th , or - if purchased online Ticketone - by consulting the website www.ticketone.it. The group was expected the day after tomorrow , July 8 , the Venaria Reale in Turin.

Cancelled performances in Italy
7/9/2010  -  The Cranberries unfortunately had to cancel their performances at Villa Fidelia in Spello and Reggie Di Venaria in Torino. We cannot wait to see you again in Italy in the future. The rest of the summer tour will continue as scheduled.

They were amazing, the theatre was packed and the setlist was good, they played several songs from the first 2 albums. They had a lot of energy and the crowd went wild when they played Promises which was not on the initial setlist. I think they were better than the last time they came to Athens which was over 10 years ago. The set list is below:

The Cranberries Sound Sweeter

Romanian Times

The Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan is hoping to be able to give fans a sweet sound at her upcoming concerts after organisers revealed she had asked for honey to be imported from New Zealand to help her with a sore throat.

The singer told concert organisers in Romania that she needed Manuka honey that comes from New Zealand for their first concert when it takes place in Bucharest on 20 July.

Local organisers said that she also wanted six types of organic fruit juices, English tea. And the green-conscious Irish singer said she also wanted fresh milk - but not in cartons.

In the last month, the band had to cancel concerts in France and Italy after it was confirmed that Dolores was suffering from a throat infection including laryngitis.
