16 May 2011 Farewell Toronto!Hello AllSorry for the long delay since the last diary entry. I've been very busy for the last month or so over here in Canada working on a new album with The Cranberries. The session has gone fantastically well. Those of you who liked the sound of the earlier Cranberries albums will love this new record I'm sure. We have recaptured the delicate darker mood of those early records and I'm delighted with the results!So I'm sitting here in my hotel room waiting to leave for the airport listening to the new Danger Mouse LP 'Rome' (which is excellent) and looking forward to coming home. I've missed my family and I've missed my beloved QPR getting promotion! Had to listen on the internet to the RRRS finally winning promotion after the FA debacle and I can tell you there was a tear in eye when it was confirmed!Anyway, back home tomorrow, short break then in to mixing the LP.Regards to all.CheersStephen

From cranberries.com:After spending the past five weeks in the studio with producer Stephen Street, The Cranberries have finished recording their sixth studio album.The album, which is due for release later this year, will be called 'Roses'. The band have recorded fifteen tracks during the album session. While not all these tracks will be available on the album itself, all will see release in some form. Stay tuned as next week the band will post the titles of the tracks

The band has formally announced the titles of all tracks recorded during the latest album sessions! While not all tracks will be included in the album release, they will all be commercially released to the fans in some form! Off to rehearsal day 3. All going well an coming together pretty quickly. 8 days to first show of the summer.
